Every Rausch inspection component is powered and controlled by the ECO STAR 400 system control unit. The ECO STAR 400 features a portable and removable suitcase design with integrated 10″ LCD screen, an array of one-touch macro controls, and dual-joysticks for simultaneous L 135 tractor and KS 135 camera control. When operating the Lateral Launch system, the joysticks control the modules to aim and launch the KS 60 CL lateral camera up to 150′ into house connections.
Three different mainline cable drums are available with the ECO STAR system control unit. The advanced Elka 600 motorized cable reel features a built-in electric chain hoist and telescopic swivel arm, and is standard in all Rausch systems. The Quadtro 300 and Alpha 150 are more conventional cable reels with 1000′ and 500′ of mainline cable. All cable reels are fully synchronized to the L 135 crawler to prevent looping of the cable in the pipe or the drum.
The ECO STAR system integrates with many popular industry PACP inspection software packages.
